Ford Transit MK8 and Custom vans use a larger than standard wheel nut because the original alloy wheels have a wide and deep nut hole. You can see from the picture that these wheel nuts look a lot chunkier than a standard car wheel nut.
Our MK8 and Custom wheel nuts are designed to the same O.E spec, however these have a solid head rather than Ford’s own style which uses a thin metal cap. Many people may be aware of how frustrating these caps can be as they are easily damaged and come off, which can make it hard to remove the nuts.
If you have a Ford Transit MK8 or Custom van with the original alloy wheels then these wheel nuts are the perfect option for you. You can order these directly from us on this website, see the item below.

If you do not have the original alloy wheels for a MK8 or Custom van then you will need a set of standard wheel nuts because these OE style nuts will be too large to fit the wheels. We recommend the long head 19mm hex nuts for aftermarket or non standard alloy wheel fitment this is because the Custom and MK8 have long wheel studs.
