The BMW 1 Series has been in production since 2004 and wheel bolt specifications have changed depending on the model generation. Earlier E-series models typically use M12 wheel bolts, while later F-series models use M14 bolts. Always confirm the correct fitment for your specific model before ordering replacements.

If your BMW 1 Series has aftermarket alloy wheels fitted, you may require:
A different bolt length
Slim or tuner-style wheel bolts
When using aftermarket alloy wheels it is sometimes necessary use spacers to allow for different offsets.
Using incorrect bolt length or seat type can prevent proper wheel seating and may result in vibration or safety issues.
Some styles of aftermarket alloys are designed to fit multiple hub bolt patterns (PCD). This style of wheel is often referred to as multi fitment alloy and will have 8 – 10 bolt holes. Due to the extra number of holes they are drilled narrower than standard and you will need to use Tuner or Slim bolts.
